Production of metal powders began in 1995 with the production of 99.99% (<100 ppm metallic impurities ) titanium powders utilized in sputtering targets for the manufacture of semiconductors.
Capacity was expanded in 1998 to add production of tantalum, niobium, and zirconium powders.
Today, Nova's capabilities include:
- Production of fine mesh hydride and dehydride metal powders to 37 micron.
- Material preparation and cutting.
- Particle size analysis.
- Toll processing of customer supplied material.
